Abstract
METODO E EUIPAMENTO OTIMIZANDO RECEPçãO DE MENSSAGENS DE PAGING DE CHAMADA / BROADCAST POR DISPOSITIVOS DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO AUTO ALIMENTADOS Uma rede de comunicações sem fio (120) reponde a cada chamada queé recebida efetuada para um dispositivo de comunicações sem fio (134) através da transmissão de uma mensagem de paging de chamada (418) dentro de uma correspondente partição de um radio frame digital de formato prescrito. Em resposta a cada ocorrência de um evento de broadcast (404), a rede transmite(414) uma mensagem repetitiva de paging de broadcast anunciando a disponibilidade de conteúdo de broadcast partir da rede. A mensagem de paging de broascast Þ transmitida várias vezes dentro de cada radio frame diigital. Outra sequência (500) descreve a operação do WCD em tal rede.Emresposta ao despertar (502) a partir do repouso, WCD detecta (509) a qualidade do sinal recebido. O WCD também recebe (510) a transmissão de rede programada de uma mensagem de uma paging de chamada e um certo número de casos (plo menos um) de uma mensagem repetitiva de paging de broadcast transmitida pela rede que ocorre várias vezes para cada transmissão programada da mensagem de paging de chamada. Tal número varia inversamente com a qualidade de sinal detectada.
