Abstract

"PROCESSO MISTO PARA DESINFECçãO E APROVEITAMENTO NA AGRICULTURA DE LODO DE ESGOTO E RESìDUOS VEGETAIS". The present invention relates to a process for using sewage sludge in agriculture. The raw material is domestic sewage sludge from a primary treatment plant that has not undergone any prior treatment for chemical stabilization or disinfection of the material, as well as vegetable waste from gardens and streets. Other oxidizing, toxic or pH-altering chemicals as well as external heat sources are not incorporated into the original materials, which characterize the process as environmentally sustainable, which makes it useful for urban sanitation companies. Therefore, the process is based on the physicochemical and microbiological stabilization of sludge in the presence of pruning of processed plants, through the sequential use of aerobic and anaerobic processes with the objective of synthesizing human pathogen-free agricultural fertilizer.
