Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA O ENVIO DE MENSAGENS SEGURAS". Mensagens eletrónicas são enviadas de um sistema de envio para um destinatário identificado e são codificadas usando-se uma informação contida em um certificado. Um banco de dados de chaves é acessado por um aplicativo de envio de mensagem para se determinar se um certificado associado ao destinatário está presente. Se nenhum certificado estiver presente no banco de dados de chaves, o aplicativo de envio de mensagem acessa um ou mais serviços de certificado para a obtenção de um certificado. Quando uma validação do certificado recuperado é requerida, o aplicativo de envio de mensagem invoca um processo de validação de certificado. Um ou mais certificados adicionais são obtidos pelo aplicativo de envio de mensagem quando o certificado recuperado é inválido.
