Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PROPORCIONAR REMENDOS PARA SOFTWARE". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para proporcionar remendos para software instalado em uma pluralidade de sistemas cliente (2 a 5), cada um possuindo pelo menos um processador de dados (12) e memória (13 a 15) e cada um sendo programado para manter informação representativa de um nível de remendo real e para gerar dados de saída pelo processamento de dados de entrada proporcionados para uma aplicação instalada com dados representativos de um nível de remendo requerido somente se o nível de remendo real estiver em uma relação predefinida com o nível de remendo requerido, inclui obter código de programa de computador para inclusão em um remendo, o código sendo disposto para cooperar com pelo menos parte do software instalado em um sistema cliente (2 a 5) para executar uma certa função após o remendo ter sido aplicado no sistema cliente, proporcionando um primeiro remendo para aplicação em pelo menos um primeiro sistema cliente com uma instrução para atualizar o nível de remendo real mantido no sistema cliente (2 a 5) para refletir um próximo nível. O método é caracterizado por proporcionar um segundo remendo para pelo menos um outro dos sistemas cliente (2 a 5) com uma instrução para atualizar o nível de remendo real mantido no sistema cliente para refletir o próximo nível. O código é proporcionado somente no primeiro dentre os primeiro e segundo remendos.
