Abstract

"DISJUNTOR PARA INTERROMPER CORRENTE EM UM SISTEMA ELéTRICO E APARELHO PARA DETECTAR FALHA DE ARCO". Um aparelho (29) inclui um primeiro circuito (34) detectando quando um valor absoluto de um sinal de corrente (31A) é menor do que um primeiro valor predeterminado e emitindo um sinal (34A) após um primeiro período de tempo. Um comparador (35) compara aquele sinal com um envelope (33A) de um sinal de corrente retificado (32A), para prover uma saída (98) com uma pluralidade de pulsos que persistem por um tempo relativamente mais longo para um valor relativamente pequeno do envelope (33A), e persistem por um tempo relativamente mais curto para um valor relativamente grande do envelope (33A). Um segundo circuito (36) habilita a saída de comparador (98) se o sinal de corrente retificado (32A) exceder um segundo valor predeterminado, e desabilita a saída de comparador após o sinal de corrente retificado (32A) estar abaixo do segundo valor predeterminado por um segundo período de tempo. Um terceiro circuito (37) acumula os pulsos e emite um sinal (26) representativo de uma falha de arco de trilha úmida.
