No âmbito de um estabelecimento de uma ligação de comunicação push-to-talk, por uma primeira unidade de cliente push-to-talk é transferida uma mensagem de estabelecimento de ligação a uma unidade de servidor push-to-talk, sendo que na mensagem de estabelecimento de ligação está contida uma informação de modo, com a qual é indicado se a unidade de cliente deseja um estabelecimento da ligação de comunicação no Unconfirmed Indication Modus ou no Confirmed Indication Modus.
