"PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO, E, MéTODO PARA FABRICAR O MESMO". A invenção compreende um portador de gravação óptico compreendendo uma trilha de dados, a trilha de dados incluindo uma seqüência de marcas e espaços de diversas extensões diferentes. As marcas e espaços formam dados de codificação de símbolos. A extensão de cada símbolo compreende um múltiplo inteiro de uma extensão de bit padrão, e um desvio. O desvio de cada símbolo varia de acordo com a extensão nominal do símbolo e a extensão nominal do símbolo vizinho.
