Abstract

"MéTODO PARA COMUTAçãO DE MODEM PARA UTILIZAçãO COM TERMINAL MULTIMODO-MULTIBANDA (MM-MB)". A invenção descreve um terminal multimodo-multibanda incluindo uma antena RF para transcever um sinal CDMA-2000 e/ou um sinal WCDMA; um transceptor RF para demodular um sinal piloto WCDMA recebido da antena RF e emitir o sinal piloto WCDMA demodulado; uma unidade de medição de sinal piloto para medir a intensidade do sinal piloto WCDMA demodulado para gerar um Ec/Io; um modem WCDMA e um modem CDMA-2000 para efetuar o processamento de chamada de acordo com protocolos definidos por uma norma WCDMA e uma norma CDMA-2000, respectivamente; uma memória flash para nela armazenar um programa de comutação modem-a-modem capaz de efetuar a comutação entre o modem WCDMA e o modem CDMA-2000 com base no Ec/Io; e uma controladora para carregar o programa de comutação modem-a-modem e ativar o modem CDMA2000 se um decurso de tempo durante o qual o Ec/Io é mantido menor que um limite TH~ ON~ do CDMA-2000 ON predeterminado é maior que uma condição de tempo Hd do CDMA-2000 ON prefixado. o tempo de comutação modem-a-modem entre o modem WCDMA e o modem CDMA-2000 no terminal MM-MB pode ser grandemente reduzido.
