Abstract
"MULTIDIFUSãO SOBRE DIFUSãO PONTO A PONTO EM UMA REDE". é descrito um método para receber uma multidifusão em dispositivos de usuários em uma rede emitindo uma solicitação para formar um grupo de multidifusão, identificar pacotes de dados de multidifusão associados com o grupo de multidifusão, monitorar transmissões dos pacotes de dados de multidifusão para determinar se os pacotes de dados de multidifusão identificados estão sendo transmitidos em uma sessão de difusão ponto a ponto já estabelecida e estabelecer uma sessão de difusão ponto a ponto e processar pacotes de dados de multidifusão se uma sessão de difusão ponto a ponto já estabelecida não existir. é descrito um método para receber uma transmissão por multidifusão em dispositivos de usuários em uma rede estabelecendo uma sessão de difusão ponto a ponto com um terminal dedicado, identificar pacotes de dados de multidifusão associados com um grupo de multidifusão, monitorar transmissões dos pacotes de dados de multidifusão e processar os pacotes de dados de multidifusão pelo terminal dedicado. Adicionalmente, é descrito um aparelho para aceitar uma solicitação para formar um grupo de multidifusão, para identificar pacotes de dados de multidifusão associados com o grupo de multidifusão, estabelecendo uma sessão de difusão ponto a ponto, para encapsular os ditos pacotes de dados de multidifusão em uma estrutura de difusão ponto a ponto e para encaminhar a estrutura de difusão ponto a ponto via a sessão de difusão ponto a ponto.
