São apresentados compostos de óxido de sulfenamida com a fórmula geral (I), em que A, R~ 1~, R~ 2~, X~ 1~, X~ 1~<39>, X~ 2~, X~ 2~<39>, X~ 3~, X~ 4~, X~ 4~<39>, X~ 5~ e X~ 5~<39> definem muitas variáveis e em que q é 0 ou 1. Os compostos apresentados nos exemplos são os compostos galactofuranosil e arabinofuranosil, em que a variável A é o oxigênio.
