Abstract
"MéTODO DE COMUTAçãO DE PACOTES EM UM MEIO DE TRANSMISSãO QUE COMPREENDE MúLTIPLAS ESTAçõES, AS QUAIS SãO CONECTADAS USANDO DIFERENTES CONEXõES". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de comutação de pacotes em um meio de transmissão que compreende múltiplas estações, as quais são conectadas usando diferentes conexões, cujo método é caracterizado pelo estabelecimento de diferentes conexões (9, 10, 11 e 12) no meio de transmissão ou em um meio diferente, com diferentes características de comunicação em um único meio e por um processo de comutação de quadro associado às conexões. Graças a isso, é possível o envio de quadros de um conjunto de equipamentos (2), conectado a um meio de transmissão (1) para qualquer outro conjunto conectado àquele mesmo meio (4, 5, 6 e 7), muito embora não exista conexão direta entre os mesmos, com todo o processamento sendo realizado no nível 2 do modelo OSI.
