Abstract

"PRODUTOS DE CRIAçãO COM UM NìVEL AUMENTADO DE ATIVADOR DO HETERODìMERO PPAR/RXR". No método não-terapêutico se faz com que animais de criação, usados em agricultura ou aquacultura para produção de produtos de criação, ingiram no mínimo um produto compreendendo um ativador do heterodímero PPAR/RXR e/ou um precursor do mesmo durante um tal período de tempo e em uma tal quantidade que o ativador do heterodímero PPAR/RXR é acumulado no animal de criação. Deste modo, podem ser obtidos produtos de criação tais como carne, leite e ovos tendo um nível aumentado de ativador do heterodímero PPAR/RXR. O ativador do heterodímero PPAR/RXR é ácido fitânico, um metabólito do ácido fitânico, um derivado do ácido fitânico ou do referido metabólito, ou uma combinação dos mesmos. De modo a acumular o ativador do heterodímero PPAR/RXR no animal de criação, uma quantidade mínima predeterminada do referido produto, em particular de fitol, é administrada aos animais de criação durante no mínimo um período de no mínimo três dias.
