Abstract

"MéTODO, APARELHO, E INTERFACE DE USUáRIO PARA GERENCIAR MENSAGENS DE ALERTA E DE CORREIO ELETRôNICO". Um método, aparelho, sistema e interface de usuário são providos para gerenciar subscrições de alerta e regras de e-mail a partir de múltiplas fontes. Mensagens de alerta e objetos de estado persistente, tais como cookies, são examinados para determinar se os mesmos são relacionados a uma subscrição de alerta. Se uma mensagem de e-mail, ou objeto de estado persistente, for determinada como relacionada a uma subscrição de alerta, um endereço de rede para uma fonte de subscrição identificada pelo conteúdo da mensagem de e-mail ou objeto de estado persistente é adicionado a uma lista de fontes de subscrição. Uma solicitação pode ser então recebida para gerenciar uma ou mais subscrições de alerta. Em resposta à solicitação, cada fonte de subscrição identificada na lista de fontes de subscrição é validada. Cada fonte de subscrição validada é adicionada a uma lista de subscrições atuais, a qual é exibida a um usuário. Cada subscrição na lista de subscrições atuais pode ser modificada ou deletada pelo usuário através de uma interface unificada de usuário para gerenciar subscrições de alerta e regras de e-mail. Esquemas e estruturas de dados também são providos para comunicação entre um cliente de subscrição de alerta e de e-mail e uma fonte de subscrição.
