Abstract

"CALIBRAçãO DE UM TRANSPONDER PARA UM SISTEMA DE MONITORAMENTO DE PRESSãO DE PNEUMáTICO". Um método (650) de calibração de um transponder (200, 604) capaz de medir dados de temperatura (N~ T~) e dados de pressão (N~ P~) num objeto (por exemplo, num pneumático (104)) e transmitir um fluxo de dados (Figura 3C) a um leitor/interrogador externo (106, 400). O transponder dispõe de memória (238) para armazenar os dados de medição, calibração (662), número de ID do transponder e outros mais. Uma vez que o transponder combina informações de temperatura e pressão nos dados de "pressão", a relação N~ T~/N~ P~ é um indicador direto somente de pressão, e é também relativamente insensível a variações na potência do transponder. O método de calibração emprega uma câmara de calibração (602) que tem sensores de pressão (614) e de temperatura (612) de referência. O transdutor a ser calibrado é colocado na câmara e exposto (652) a um certo número de temperaturas e pressões predeterminadas (medidas pelos sensores de referência) num certo número de pontos de calibração. Em cada ponto de calibração, uma leitura de temperatura (N~ T~) e uma leitura de pressão (N~ P~), detectadas pelo transponder, são registradas, juntamente com a temperatura e pressão de referência.
