Abstract
"MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR UM PARâMETRO DEINTERESSE DE UMA FORMAçãO DE SUBSUPERFìCIECONTENDO UMA AREIA E UM XISTO E UMA SATURAçãO DEHIDROCARBONETO DE UMA FORMAçãO GEOLóGICA E PARAOBTER UMA POROSIDADE E SATURAçãO DE áGUA DE PELOMENOS UMA CAMADA DE AREIA EM UM RESERVATóRIOCOMPREENDENDO AREIA E XISTO". A porosidade total daformação (13), incluindo um volume fracional do xisto (13), e umaresistividade do xisto são determinados (22), em um reservatóriolaminado incluindo areia que pode ter xisto disperso na mesma. Ummodelo petrofísico de tensor determina o volume de xisto laminar ea condutividade de areia laminar a partir das condutividadesvertical e horizontal derivadas de dados de registro por indução demúltiplos componentes (10). O volume do xisto disperso e dasporosidades total e efetiva da fração de areia laminar sãodeterminados utilizando-se uma abordagemThomas-Stieber-Jubasz. A remoção dos efeitos da condutividade eporosidade do xisto laminar reduz o problema da areia com xistolaminada a um único modelo de areia com xisto disperso ao qual aequação de Waxman-Smits pode ser aplicada.
