Abstract
"APERFEIçOAMENTO DA CAPACIDADE ESCALAR DE FINA GRANULARIDADE USANDO CODIFICAçãO DE PLANO DE BITS DE COEFICIENTES DE TRANSFORMAçãO" Um sistema para codificação eficiente de plano de bits dos dados do coeficiente de transformação, tal como dados de DCT usados em um sistema de codificação de vídeo. Valores decimais para os coeficientes de transformação, por exemplo, em um bloco de vários coeficientes, são convertidos para valores binários, onde cada bit ocupa uma plano de bits correspondente, do bit mais significativo para o bit menos significativo. Um bit de cada coeficiente é fornecido em um plano de bits comum. Um indicador ou palavra código de um bit (tal como "0") é usado para codificar um ou mais planos de bits iniciais todos zero, enquanto um outro indicador de um bit (tal como "1") é usado para designar o primeiro plano subseq³ente sem todos zero.
