Abstract
"CURVATURAS ASSIMéTRICAS EM MINIATURA EM FIBRASóTICAS E MéTODO PARA FORMAçãO DAS MESMAS".Trata-se de um dispositivo de fibra ótica para alterar a direção aolongo de um caminho da fibra ótica que é proporcionado utilizandouma curvatura assimétrica em miniatura. O dispositivo de fibra óticacom a curvatura em miniatura é particularmente adequado paracomponentes nos quais uma das partes da fibra situa-se próxima auma superfície, tal como um divisor de lado único. Um método paraformar tal curvatura assimétrica em miniatura em fibras óticastambém é proporcionado. Em uma modalidade para formar acurvatura assimétrica, as partes de fibra que entram e que saemsão deslocadas ao longo de eixos paralelos antes de se curvaruma parte intermediária. Em outra modalidade; a parte intermediáriaé aquecida em uma localização que é deslocada a partir de umeixo de curvatura.
