Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA A ANáLISE DE UMA AMOSTRA BIOLóGICA"<D>. Um dispositivo para a separação de um fluido de uma amostra biológica, quando a amostra tiver um componente de fluido e não de fluido. O dispositivo é um dispositivo de ponto de atendimento, através do qual dados podem ser eletronicamente coletados e eletronicamente transmitidos para uma avaliação posterior. Um método para a separação de fluido de uma amostra biológica é provido, onde o método compreende a etapa de colocação de amostra de fluido em contato de fluido com as microesferas, de modo que o componente de fluido se mova por uma ação capilar entre as microesferas ao longo de canais capilares formados pelos espaços entre as esferas e deixando, por exemplo, uma fração celular para trás. No dispositivo da presente invenção, a etapa de separação do fluido pode ser combinada com outras técnicas de ensaio para detecção e/ou medição de um ou mais analisados, os quais podem estar presentes na amostra de fluido, tais como imunoensaios e ensaios cromotográficos.
