Abstract

Adição do sistema de micropartículas à massa de papel melhora a retenção, drenagem e formação de folha durante o processo de fabricação do papel."MICROPARTICLE SYSTEM USED AS A RETENTION AND DRAINAGE AID IN A PAPER MASS, PAPER PRODUCT, AND, PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE SAME" A microparticle system for use as a retention and drainage aid in the production of acidic and paper products alkalis comprise an HMW flocculating polymer (6), an acidic colloid (7), and an MMW coagulant or flocculant (5). The acid colloid (7) comprises an aqueous solution of a water soluble polymer or copolymer of aldehyde melamine, preferably melamine formaldehyde, and is present in an amount ranging from 0.0005% to 0.5% by weight based on weight dry solids in the mass. The HMW flocculating polymer (6) can be added to the mass after the vane pump, and before a pressure sieve (2); the acid colloid (7) can be added to the dough after the pressure sieve (2), and the MMW coagulant / flocculant (5) can be added before the vane pump (1). Alternatively, this sequence of chemical additions can be altered, that is, the acid colloid (7) can be added before or after the vane pump (1) or before the pressure screen (2). Addition of the microparticle system to the paper mass improves retention, drainage and sheet formation during the papermaking process.
