"MéTODO PARA A DESLIGNIFICAçãO SELETIVA DEMATERIAIS LIGNOCELULóSICOS". Descreve-se um métodopara a deslignificação de materiais lignocelulósicos, primeiramente,por tratamento do material com uma solução alcalina, na presençaou ausência de antraquinona, e depois exposição do material a umpolioxometalato. A inclusão da etapa de pré-tratamento alcalinapropicia a ocorrência de deslignificação a uma alta eficiência eproduz altos rendimentos de resíduo e viscosidades.
