"SISTEMA DE LIMPEZA A SECO PARA A REMOçãO DE MANCHAS EM TECIDOS, E, PROCESSO DE LIMPEZA A SECO DE TECIDOS" é descrito um sistema para a limpeza de manchas em tecidos o qual contém dióxido de carbono adensado combinado com um tensoativo selecionado. O dióxido de carbono adensado é utilizado em uma faixa de temperatura de cerca de - 78,5°C a cerca de 100°C e tendo uma faixa de pressão de cerca de 14,7 psi a cerca de 10.000 psi. O tensoativo é escolhido de um dos dois grupos de compostos tendo a fórmula (I) conforme descrito no texto ou um segundo grupo de compostos siloxano tendo a fórmula [AB]~ y~ conforme descrito. Um processo para usar o sistema de limpeza a seco é também descrito.
