Abstract

"PELOTAS PARA O USO COMO UM MATERIAL DE REDUçãO EM PROCESSOS METALúRGICOS DE REDUçãO PARA A PRODUçãO DE METAIS E LIGAS". FOR USE AS A REDUCTION MATERIAL IN METALLURGICAL REDUCTION PROCESSES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF METALS AND ALLOYS". The present invention relates to pellets for use as a reduction material in reduction metallurgical processes for the production of metals and alloys. The pellets comprise 40-95% by weight of biomass produced through the treatment of wood chips and optionally water vapor paper under high pressure and 5-60% by weight of one or more fine particulate carbon materials containing a substantial amount elemental carbon.
