A invenção refere-se a novas 3,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazinas substituídas opticamente ativas da fórmula (I), na qual Ar representa arila eventualmente substituída, sendo que arila representa um grupamento aromático carbocíclico ou heterocíclico, monocíclico ou bicíclico das seguintes séries: fenila, naftila, piridinila, pirimidinila, furila, benzofurila, tienila e benzotienila e os substituintes possíveis são escolhidos da série ciano, nitro, carbamoila, tiocarbamoila, halogênio, C~ 1~-C~ 4~alquila, C~ 1~-C~4~-halogenoalquila, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alcóxi, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-halogenoalcóxi, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alquiltio, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-halogenoalquiltio, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alquilsulfinila, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-halogenoalquilsulfinila, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alquilsulfonila, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-halogenoalquilsulfonila, C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alquilamino e C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alcóxi-carbonila, R¹ representa alquila com 1 até 4 átomos de carbono, R² representa alquila com 1 até 4 átomos de carbono eventualmente substituída por hidróxi, ciano, halogênio ou C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alcóxi e R³ representa alquila com 2 até 4 átomos de carbono eventualmente substituída por ciano, halogênio ou C~ 1~-C~ 4~-alcóxi, sendo que os substituintes estão dispostos no átomo de carbono, ao qual R¹ está ligado, em configuração R. The invention also relates to methods and new intermediate products for the production of the substituted 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazines of the invention and their use as herbicides.
