Uso de específicos homopolímeros de <sym>-caprolactona de baixo peso molecular possuindo um peso molecular médio de cerca de 1.000g/mol, que apresentam vantagens inesperadas como um agente plastificante para composições de polímero vinílico. Os agentes plastificantes podem ser incorporados nas composições de polímero vinílico, tais como composições de PVC e conferem às composições de polímero vinílico dentro das quais estão incorporados propriedades que se aproximam daquelas que contêm agentes plastificantes tradicionais, tais como DOP, DOA, e TOTM evitando ao mesmo tempo várias desvantagens associadas com os mesmos.''
