Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA DE TRANSMISSãO PARA POçO DE PERFURAçãO UTILIZANDO MODULAçãO DE IMPEDâNCIA". é apresentado um sistema de transmissão de dados para uso no extrair dados de uma locação no fundo do poço em um poço. O poço tem uma estrutura de fundo do poço eletricamente condutiva (2,C) que juntamente com um retorno de terra forma um circuito de sinal que é usado para transmitir dados. Uma fonte comum (34) é prevista na cabeça de poço para aplicar um sinal de referência à estrutura no fundo do poço (2, C). Dispositivos variadores de impedância efetiva (48) são localizados no fundo do poço e usados para variar a impedância efetiva do circuito de sinal na dependência dos dados a serem transmitidos para a cabeça de poço. Dispositivos monitores (35) para monitorar alterações no sinal de referência causadas pelo variar a impedância efetiva do circuito de sinal são localizados na cabeça de poço. A monitoração destas alterações permite que dados sejam extraídos. Um ponto de ligação à terra de referência em separado pode ser previsto para os dispositivos monitores para aliviar o efeito de imperfeições na conexão de terra (S) usada para completar o circuito de sinal.
