''PROCESSO PARA TRANSMITIR INFORMAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES, E, SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES PARA TRANSMITIR INFORMAçãO'' Um processo para transmitir informação em um sistema de comunicações. O processo de preferência inclui as etapas de estabelecer um enlace de comunicações entre uma estação base e um nó temporário, tentando manter um segundo enlace de comunicação entre a estação base e um terminal sem fio e mediante uma determinação de que o segundo enlace não possa ser estabelecido ou satisfatoriamente mantido, transmitir informação da primeira estação base para o nó temporário para que o nó temporário possa retransmitir a informação para o terminal sem fio, tentando restabelecer o segundo enlace e realizado o dito estabelecimento, descontinuar a transmissão de informação subsequente da estação base para o nó temporário e transmitir diretamente a informação subseq³ente para o terminal sem fio a partir da estação base. Um sistema para executar as etapas precedentes é também apresentado.
