O dispositivo é composto de Circuito Integrado (CI), e terá um painel composto de teclado (4) e display (3) para escolha da velocidade de deslocamento, a qual, no caso de acionamento da função "limitador", não permitirá que o veículo ultrapasse velocidade acima da selecionada, usando sua força motriz. Este dispositivo visa popularizar o uso do controle efetivo de velocidade, pois sua simplicidade e baixo custo permitem ao motorista dirigir com maior segurança, evitando multas por excesso de velocidade, minimizando a possibilidade de acidentes com danos materiais e humanos e custos com seguros, economizando combustível, evitando o furto do veículo, evitando maior desgaste do veículo e maiores gastos com a manutenção do mesmo.<B> "CONTROLLER AND SPEED LIMITER, WITH ANTI-THEFT, FOR MOTOR VEHICLES" <D>, refers to an electronic device for controlling and traveling speed limiter, with anti-theft, to be applied in motor vehicles.
