Abstract

<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CODIFICAR UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO<D> Codificador de fala (400) para codificar um sinal de informação varia a configuração de lista de código baseado em parâmetros inerentes no sinal de informação. O codificador (400) de fala não exige despesa adicional para enviar os parâmetros de modo enquanto permitindo resolução de subquadro. As configurações variam não apenas para nível de voz, como também para período de freq³ência de som uma vez que características fisiológicas diferentes produzem configurações diferentes de lista de código. Uma matriz de dispersão (406) dentro do codificador de fala (400) facilita uma busca de lista de código que é realizada em vetores cujo comprimento pode ser menor do que o comprimento de um subquadro. Adicionalmente, o uso da matriz de dispersão (406) permite a adição de eventos randómicos para fala muito ligeiramente vocalizada que incorre em pouca despesa computacional porém produz uma excitação rica.
