Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"ANODO COM REVESTIMENTO APERFEIçOADO PARA A EVOLUçãO DE OXIGêNIO EM ELETRóLITOS QUE CONTêM MANGANêS"<D>. é descrito um novo tipo de eletrodo apropriado para uso como um anodo para a evolução de oxigênio de eletrólitos que contêm ácido sulfúrico, ou sulfatos, na presença de manganês, em processos eletrometalúrgicos para a produção de zinco, cobre, níquel e cobalto e em processos galvânicos para o deposição de cromo, níquel e metais nobres. O anodo da invenção compreende um substrato de titânio dotado de um revestimento eletrocatalítico para a evolução de oxigênio feito de óxidos de irídio e bismuto. Em uma modalidade alternativa da invenção, o revestimento compreende agentes dopadores selecionados dos grupos IVA, VA e VB, em particular estanho e/ou antimónio.
