Abstract

O enriquecimento de uma corrente de hidrocarbonetos contendo enxofre, metais e asfaltenos envolve a aplicação da alimentação a uma coluna de destilação, para produção de uma fração de destilado substancialmente isento de asfaltenos e metais e uma fração de não-destilado contendo enxofre, asfaltenos e metais. The enrichment of a stream of hydrocarbons containing sulfur, metals and asphaltenes involves the application of feed to a distillation column, to produce a fraction of distillate substantially free of asphaltenes and metals and a fraction of non-distillate containing sulfur, asphaltenes and metals . At least part of said fraction of distillate substantially free of asphaltenes and metals is converted into a hydrogen donor diluent. The non-distillate fraction is processed in a solvent de-asphalting unit, to produce a de-asphalted oil stream and an asphaltene stream. After forming a combined stream, the combined stream is thermally cracked forming a thermally cracked stream, which is applied to the distillation column.
