Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPOSIçõES VìTREAS PARA RECIPIENTES ABSORVEDORES DE UV"<D>. Composição vítrea para recipientes que reduz a transmissão de luz UV abaixo de um comprimento de onda de cerca de 400 manómetros, a composição tendo propriedades de fusão e moldagem similares ao do vidro de cal sodada-sílica e contendo SiO~ 2~, CaO, MgO, K~ 2~O, SO~ 3-~ e uma quantidade absorvedora de UV de cerca de 0,4 a 0,8 por cento em peso de FeO + Fe~ 2~ O~ 3~ e cerca de 2 a 4 por cento em peso de MnO + MnO~ 2~.
