Abstract
<B>"DISPOSITIVO PARA O CONTROLE DE VAZãO DE FLUIDOS NO ESPAçO ANULAR DE JUNTAS TELESCóPICAS E USO DO MESMO"<D> é apresentado um dispositivo para o controle de vazão de fluidos no espaço anular em juntas telescópicas constituído por um anel deslizante (2) acoplado aos dutos de ligação (1), de modo a garantir uma seção anular com o espaçamento constante e desejado na região de conexão dos dutos de ligação, sem prejuízo estrutural na acomodação dos deslocamentos diferenciais. A utilização do anel deslizante (2) acoplado à junta telescópica garante uma área constante de passagem de fluidos e uma perda de carga desejada para acomodar uma vazão de fluidos conhecida. A geometria do conjunto anel deslizante (2) e junta telescópica é tal que não são necessárias operações especiais de limpeza ou remoção do anel deslizante nas paradas e partidas das unidades que a utiliza. é apresentada também a utilização do dispositivo para o controle de vazão no espaço anular em dutos de ligação de sistemas de ciclones fechados de unidade de craqueamento catalítico fluido (FCC).<B> "DEVICE FOR THE CONTROL OF FLUID FLOW IN THE ANNUAL SPACE OF TELESCOPIC JOINTS AND USE OF THE SAME" <D> a device is presented for controlling the flow of fluids in the annular space in telescopic joints consisting of a slip ring (2 ) coupled to the connection ducts (1), in order to guarantee an annular section with the constant and desired spacing in the connection region of the connection ducts, without structural damage in the accommodation of the differential displacements. The use of the slip ring (2) coupled to the telescopic joint guarantees a constant fluid passage area and a desired pressure drop to accommodate a known fluid flow. The geometry of the slip ring assembly (2) and telescopic joint is such that no special cleaning or removal operations for the slip ring are required at the stops and starts of the units that use it. the use of the device to control the flow in the annular space in connection ducts of closed cyclone systems of fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCC) is also presented.
