Abstract
Patente de Invenção; <B>"DISPOSIçãO DE ELETRODOS PARA ACUMULADORES DE NìQUEL-CáDMIO E PROCESSO PARA A SUA FABRICAçãO"<D>. Para se poder fabricar acumuladores de níquel-cádmio prismáticos abertos, sem limitação de quantidade de eletrólitos, que apresentam eletrodos com estrutura de fibra, os quais conservando as vantagens acima descritas em relação aos acumuladores NC convencionais, sejam compatíveis a estes no que se refere à tensão de carga, ou seja, que comparados a estes não requeiram nenhuma tensão elevada de carga, e no que se refere ao consumo de água apresentam um dispêndio reduzido de manutenção, propõe-se uma disposição de eletrodos para acumuladores NC, empregando-se ao menos parcialmente eletrodos com estrutura de fibra, sendo que são fabricados eletrodos positivos e negativos em forma de placas, intercalando-se material separador alternadamente para a formação de um pacote de eletrodos em quantidade predeterminada, sendo empilhados e os eletrodos direcionados na mesma direção são ligados entre si por meio de pontes polarizadas, sendo que o pacote de eletrodos é prensado e fixado em forma estável em toda a sua superfície, comprimindo-se o material separado localizado entre os eletrodos, sendo que para isso o pacote de eletrodos é colocado entre elementos de fixação mecânicos.
