Abstract

''PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UM CARBOXILATO SOBREBáSICO DE CáLCIO GELIFICADO, COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO, COMPOSIçãO LUBRIFICANTE E PRODUTO''. A presente invenção é dirigida a processo para preparar carboxilato de cálcio sobrebásico gelificado que envolve carbonatação de um ácido carboxílico de 8 a 30 átomos de carbono na presença de um sistema promotor consistindo de água e um álcool de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono, tal que a razão molar do álcool em relação a água seja substancialmente constante e tal que a viscosidade da mistura reagente durante a etapa de carbonatação não exceda 1 pascal.segundo (1000 centipoise). Este processo impede excessivo espessamento da mistura reagente em uma unidade de fabricação durante a carbonatação e garante um tempo amplo para completar o processo de carbonatação sem cristalização prematura do carbonato de cálcio formado durante a sobrebasificação.
