Abstract
<B>"FRAGMENTO DE áCIDO NUCLéICO ISOLADO E MéTODO DE OBTENçãO DO MESMO, GENE QUIMéRICO, CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA TRANSFORMADA, MéTODO DE ALTERAçãO DO NìVEL DE EXPRESSãO DE UMA ENZIMA E PRODUTO"<D> A presente invenção refere-se a um fragmento de ácido nucléico isolado que codifica enzimas da soja que catalisam etapas na biosíntese de isoflavonas, sendo que a enzima é um membro selecionado do grupo que consiste em chalcona isomerase, isoflavona redutase e vestitona redutase. A invenção também se refere à construção de genes quiméricos que codificam toda ou uma parte substancial das enzimas, na orientação de sentido ou de anti-sentido, onde a expressão do gene quimérico resulta na produção de níveis alterados da enzima em uma célula hospedeira transformada.
