Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"CODIFICAçãO DE áUDIO BASEADA EM QUADRO COM BANCO DE FILTROS ADICIONAL PARA SUPRIMIR ARTEFATOS DE DESALINHAMENTO EM LIMITES DE QUADRO". Diversas técnicas de processamento de sinais de áudio podem ser usadas em várias combinações, a fim de aperfeiçoar a qualidade de áudio representada por uma corrente de informação formada por edições de união de duas ou mais outras correntes de informação. As técnicas são particularmente úteis em aplicações que enfeixam a informação de áudio com a informação de vídeo. Em uma técnica, palavras de controle de ganho, transportadas com a corrente de informação de áudio são usadas para interpolar níveis de som de reprodução através de uma união. Em outra técnica, bancos de filtros especiais ou formas de transformação de TDAC são usados para suprimir artefatos de desalinhamento em ambos os lados de uma união. Ainda em outra técnica, bancos de filtros especiais ou funções de janelas de desvanecimento cruzado são usadas para otimizar a atenuação de interferência espectral criada em uma união. Em outra técnica, taxa de amostras de áudio são convertidas de acordo com os comprimentos e taxas de quadros para permitir que a informação de áudio seja enfeixada, por exemplo, com a informação de vídeo. Em outra técnica ainda, blocos de áudio são alinhados, dinamicamente, de modo que a sincronização adequada possa ser mantida através de uma união. Um exemplo para áudio de 48 kHz com vídeo de NTSC é discutido.
