Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>SISTEMA DE LEITURA AUTO-ORIENTADOR PARA IDENTIFICAçãO REMOTA''<D>. Um método e aparelho para identificar artigos (30) é revelado. O método inclui as etapas de: (a) proporcionar uma pluralidade de artigos (30), cada um dos artigos (30) possuindo pelo menos uma parte (38) que inclui um material fotonicamente ativo; (b) para cada artigo (30), iluminar a pelo menos uma parte (38) com luz a partir de uma fonte de estimulo (52); (c) identificar uma localização (50) da pela menos uma parte (38) por detectar uma emissão (56) a partir do material fotonicamente ativo; (d) apontar uma fonte de excitação (44) na localização identificada (50); e (e) iluminar a pelo menos uma parte (38) dentro da localização identificada (50) com luz a partir da fonte de excitação (44). Uma próxima etapa detecta uma emissão com identificação codificada (62) a partir do material fotonicamente ativo em resposta à luz a partir da fonte de excitação (44).
