Abstract
"MéTODO GENéTICO PARA O CONTROLE DE GERMINAçãO" A presente invenção refere-se ao método de controle de formação de germinação em plantas e em partes das mesmas que inclui órgãos de armazenamento de vegetais. O método envolve o uso de marcações e promotores específicos de órgãos para controlar a expressão de seq³ências de DNA para inibir a germinação. A germinação é restaurada ao se trocar a expressão das seq³ências de DNA ao se usar regiões promotoras induzíveis onde a germinação pode ser controlada, por exemplo, pela aplicação de um estímulo químico externo.
