Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO OPERACIONAL HIDROSTáTICO, EM PARTICULAR UM AMOSTRADOR DE NúCLEO PARA AMOSTRAS DE NúCLEO DE SEDIMENTOS NO FUNDO DO MAR". Trata-se de um dispositivo operacional hidrostático para tirar amostras do fundo do mar. O dispositivo operacional tem um tubo externo (1), o tubo cilíndrico (1), o tubo cilíndrico com um penetrador (5 e 7) e um tubo interno (2), o tubo de amostragem com um pistão, pelo que o espaço entre o tubo externo (1) e o tubo interno (2), com o pistão na extremidade superior, constitui uma câmara de baixa pressão (29) enchida com ar sob uma pressão moderada, de modo a se manter o tubo de amostragem (2) em uma posição superior até que a válvula se abra para um curso operacional. Quando o dispositivo operacional é empregado como um amostrador, o tubo de amostragem é, em sua extremidade inferior, equipado com um captador (4). Quando a ferramenta é usada como um CPT, os penetradores (5 e 7) são substituídos por (20 e 40) e o pistão (3) por um pistão (19), e o tubo de amostragem (2) é substituído por uma sonda, e uma válvula de abafamento (14) é substituída por uma válvula de fluxo volumétrico compensada por pressão (39).
