Abstract

"APARELHOS PARA ATIVAR E DESATIVAR, E PARA INDICAR A CONDIçãO DE UM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO INCORPORADO A UM COMPUTADOR MóVEL" Um comutador (210) posicionado em um alojamento externo (170) de um computador móvel (100) possui uma primeira posição associada com a ativação de um dispositivo de comunicação sem fio (150) incorporado ao computador móvel. Quando na primeira posição, o comutador fornece a indicação de que o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio está ativado. O comutador também possui uma segunda posição associada com a desativação do dispositivo de comunicação sem fio. Quando na segunda posição, o comutador fornece a indicação de que o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio está desativado. O comutador não possui qualquer efeito sobre a ativação ou desativação do computador móvel. Incluído também está um dispositivo para ativar o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio quando o comutador está na primeira posição e desativar o dispositivo de comunicação sem fio quando o comutador está na segunda posição. Adicionalmente, os diodos de emissão de luz (270, 280) fornecem indicação da condição do dispositivo de comunicação sem fio dentro do computador móvel.
