Abstract

"LUVA TERMO-PROTETORA PARA A PROTEçãO DE SUBSTRATOS E MEMBROS ALONGADOS". Uma luva termo-protetora (10) para a proteção de membros alongados é divulgado, a luva tendo uma primeira manta de material isolante (12) com uma camada reflexiva externa. Bordas dispostas opostamente (16, 18) da primeira manta têm meios de juntar as bordas (16,18) a uma porção da primeira manta (20), em relacionamento de sobreposição, para formar uma luva tubular. Uma segunda manta isolante é ligada à superfície externa da primeira manta, internamente, a partir das bordas. A segunda manta tem também uma camada reflexiva na sua superfície externa e é ligada à primeira manta, ao longo de suas bordas, paralelo às bordas da primeira manta, assim, formando uma bolsa de ar (26) entre as mantas. Um arame monofilamento rígido dobrado em espiral ou noutra configuração, é disposto dentro da bolsa de ar para manter a configuração da bolsa. Em uso, a bolsa de ar é posicionada faceando uma fonte de calor e a manta interpõe uma camada reflexiva, uma camada isolante, uma bolsa de ar, uma segunda camada reflexiva e uma segunda camada isolante, entre os membros alongados e a fonte de calor.
