Abstract

"SISTEMA E APARELHO PARA A TRANSFERêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLéICO IN VIVO PARA O INTERIOR DE CéLULAS DE ORGANISMOS EUCARIóTICOS PLURICELULARES". Esta invenção refere-se a sistemas e aparelhos que proporcionam um aumento notável da transferência, in vivo, para o interior de células, particularmente células de músculos e células de tumor, de vetores de ácidos nucléicos utilizando-se campos elétricos fracos, de modo a incrementar a eficiência desse tipo de transferências. Os aparelhos da invenção são projetados para proporcionar um gradiente de voltagem ótimo para incrementar a migração de vetores de ácido nucléico para o interior de células, sem danificar as células ou o tecido. This invention relates to systems and devices that provide a notable increase in the transfer, in vivo, into cells, particularly muscle cells and tumor cells, of nucleic acid vectors using weak electric fields in order to increase the efficiency of such transfers. The devices of the invention are designed to provide an optimal voltage gradient to increase the migration of nucleic acid vectors into cells, without damaging cells or tissue. These devices are characterized by unique electrode arrangements, and unique power limits defined by maximum voltage adjustments.
