Abstract

"CATODO DE EMISSãO DE CAMPO, E, FONTE DE LUZ" O catodo de emissão de campo (40) inclui um corpo base, e corpos emissores de campo na forma de fibras (42), fixados no corpo base. As fibras (42) possuem superfícies emissoras de campo em suas extremidades livres, e o corpo base é um núcleo de extensão longitudinal (41) formado por pelo menos dois fios (43) entre os quais as fibras (42) estão seguras. As fibras (42) estão distribuídas ao longo de pelo menos uma parte do comprimento do núcleo (41) e se estendem radialmente para fora do núcleo (41). A fonte de luz compreende um recipiente evacuado possuindo paredes, cuja pelo menos uma porção consiste de uma camada de vidro externa (23, 23') que em pelo menos na sua maior parte, é, revestido no interior com uma camada de fósforo (24, 24') formando uma camada luminescente e uma camada condutiva (25, 25') formando um anodo. A camada de fósforo (24, 24') é excitada para luminescência por meio de bombardeamento de elétrons de um catodo de emissão de campo (40, 40') localizado no interior do recipiente. Um eletrodo modulador (30, 30') está arranjado entre o catodo (40, 40') e o anodo (25, 25') para geração de campo elétrico necessário para a emissão de elétrons.
