Abstract
''APARELHOS PARA GRAVAçãO E PARA REPRODUçãO DE UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO, PROCESSO DE GRAVAçãO DE UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO, E, PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO". Um aparelho é exposto para gravação de um sinal de informação e um sinal CTL em um portador de gravação magnética (16). O aparelho é fornecido com uma entrada (2) para recepção do sinal de informação e pelo menos uma cabeça de escrita (10) localizada em um tambor de cabeça rotativa (14) para escrita do sinal de informação produzindo trilhas inclinadas. Um gerador (36) para geração de um sinal CTL tendo um freq³ência especifíca e uma cabeça de escrita (34) para escrita do sinal CTL produzindo uma trilha longitudinal é também fornecida. Em um primeiro modo de gravação, uma parte do sinal de informação é gravada pela dita cabeça de escrita (10) produzindo uma trilha de informação durante cada revolução do dito tambor de cabeça no dito portador de gravação. A freq³ência do dito sinal CTL é tal que uma aresta do primeiro tipo no dito sinal CTL é escrita na dita trilha CTL para cada uma das ditas trilhas de informação escritas pela dita cabeça de escrita (10). O portador de gravação (16) é transportado com uma predeterminada primeira velocidade no dito primeiro modo de gravação e o tambor de cabeça (14) é girado com uma predeterminada velocidade rotacional. Em um segundo modo de gravação, a cabeça de escrita (10) escreve uma parte de dito sinal de informação produzindo uma trilha de informação durante cada enésima revolução do dito tambor de cabeça (14) no dito portador de gravação. O portador de gravação é transportado com uma segunda velocidade que substancialmente iguala a primeira velocidade dividida por n, no dito segundo modo de gravação. O tambor de cabeça é girado com a dita mesma predeterminada velocidade rotacional e um sinal CTL tendo a mesma predeterminada freq³ência é gerado no dito segundo modo de gravação. n é um inteiro maior do que 1.
