Abstract
"JUNTAS DE TENSãO EM RELEVO PARA TUBOS ASCENDENTES". Uma junta de tensão em relevo para uso com o tubo ascendente em sistemas flutuantes onde uma embarcação é submetida a movimento variável causado pela ação de vento, correntes, e ondas. O tubo ascendente possui uma extremidade conectável ao fundo do mar e uma parte superior adaptada para passar através de uma abertura no fundo do recipiente. A extremidade inferior, que é conectável a outros tubos no fundo do mar, é fornecida com pelo menos dois tubos concêntricos ou luvas em torno do tubo ascendente. As extremidades inferiores de cada um dos tubos se estende além da extremidade superior do tubo circundando imediatamente o mesmo. O anel tubular entre os tubos concêntricos e o tubo ascendente é de preferência enchido com um material durável e flexível. Também, podem ser inseridos calços no anel tubular na extremidade de cada segmento de tubo.
