O elemento (18) de suporte eletricamente isolante inclui uma porção (45) de corpo superior cobrindo o fio (40) de eletrodo. A porção (45) de corpo superior contém uma passagem (44) de ignição por centelha para comunicar descarga de ignição por centelha entre o fio (40) de eletrodo e o bico (10) de gás.
