Um método para a redução das emissões de compostos prejudiciais de nitrogênio do ciclo químico de uma usina de polpa. O método compreende suprir gases de saída contendo amoniaco separados do material fundido de sal para o forno de uma caldeira (1,10) em um ponto onde o combustível foi principalmente queimado, por meio disso o amoníaco reage com o óxido de nitrogênio presente no forno para formar nitrogênio molecular.Invention Patent: <B> "METHOD FOR REDUCING EMISSIONS FROM HARMFUL NITROGEN COMPOUNDS" <D>. A method for reducing emissions of harmful nitrogen compounds from the chemical cycle of a pulp mill. The method comprises supplying exhaust gases containing ammonia separated from the molten salt material to the furnace of a boiler (1,10) at a point where the fuel was mainly burned, whereby the ammonia reacts with the nitrogen oxide present in the furnace to form molecular nitrogen.
