A presente invenção refere-se a um acendedor cerâmico que compreende um par de partes eletricamente condutoras, cada parte possuindo uma primeira extremidade, uma zona quente resistiva, disposta entre e em conexão elétrica com cada uma das primeiras extremidades das partes eletricamente condutoras, a zona quente possuindo um comprimento de trajetória elétrica menor do que 0,5 cn, e um material de dreno de calor, eletricamente não-condutor, contactando a zona quente.
