Abstract
MéTODO DE UTILIZAçãO".<D> Uma bomba de metal fundido atuada por bolha de gás inerte (PU) se localiza entre uma seção de um forno de fundição de metal (10) e uma segunda seção para bombear metal fundido de uma seção, na qual o metal fundido se encontra em uma temperatura mais alta, para a segunda seção, na qual o metal fundido (26) se encontra em uma temperatura mais baixa, e seu efluente é dirigido para contato com as chispas de metal (80) que sã maneira, na fusão mais rápida das chispas na massa de metal fundido (26) na segunda seção. Ogás inerte (IG) empregado para atuar a bomba de metal fundido (PU) fica preso embaixo de uma tampa resistente ao calor e resistente á chama (30) localizada acima do canal da bomba (PU) e sobre uma porção subrovendo, portanto, uma atmosfera não oxidante na sob a dita tampa (30). Desta maneira, o gás inerte (IG) é empregado não apenas para atuar a bomba de metal fundido atuada por bolha de gás inerte (PU), mas também para ajudar na rápida fusão das chispas de metal (80) que são carregadas, como também para prover uma atmosfera não oxidante na superfície do metal fundido (26).
