Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>"MINIMIZAR O EFEITO DE CURVATURA SOBRE MEDIçõES ULTRA-SÈNICAS EM UM ELEMENTO DE SUPORTE DE CARGA"<D>. Dispositivo indicador de carga, compreendendo um elemento de suporte de carga (10), adaptado para se deformar quando tensionado. Ondas ultra-sónicas são dirigidas em uma extremidade (12) do elemento de suporte de carga e ecos ultra-sónicos são recebidos na mesma extremidade por meio de equipamento de transmissão e recebimento de ondas ultra-sónicas. Em uma concretização, ondas ultra-sónicas são transmitidas e recebidas usando um transdutor ultra-sónico (18) disposto na cabeça (12) ou na extremidade oposta (14) do elemento de suporte de carga. A cabeça, a extremidade, a espiga (13) ou uma combinação das mesmas, são contornadas para reduzir a influência de variações geométricas e da tensão assimétricas no elemento de suporte de carga na medição ultra-sónica. Um método também é proporcionado, o qual envolve um modelo, pelo qual as geometrias preferidas das superfícies contornadas do elemento de suporte de carga podem ser projetadas. Também é proporcionado um método de fabricação de um elemento de suporte de carga incluindo o contorno de pelo menos uma extremidade (12,14) de um elemento de suporte de carga, ou a espiga (13), a fim de reduzir a influência de variações geométricas e da tensão assimétrica no elemento de suporte de carga na medição ultra-sónica e um método de identificação de um contorno em um elemento de suporte de carga, que proporcionará medições de carga ultra-sónicas precisas e seguras.
